De-Bug It Reflection

The De-Bug It challenges were very easy for me in the beginning because I was able to recognize the mistakes fairly quickly. Some of them I was able to use some tools I have already learned, like the first three, but in the last two I needed to guess and check. I used guess and check because it would help me get closer to a result that I wanted. It was not as quick but with trial and error I knew I could reach the goal eventually.

10 Block Challenge

The 10 block challenge was a fun way of starting this scratch program because it would limit you only to specific things. If there was one block that I really wanted to use, but couldn't, I would need to find a different block or two that match what I was looking for.

The video was helpful because it showed us some tools that we can use for future projects that we create. They will be better than before and we can keep up with the problem solving and learning processes.

Scratch-1

 Things that were surprising about the activity were that it was a lot easier than what I thought it would be. It was easier because the codes tell you exactly what your sprite would do and allows you to code very specific things for certain amounts of time.


Being led step by step was helpful because I have never used the program before. It was able to help me and show me anything that I needed and the tips would do that too. The program never was confusing and if there was anything that I had trouble with I could use the examples shown to help me.

I would prefer to have more structure when working with something fairly new because it will help me get a better understanding of what I am doing. I like having more freedom when comfortable with a structure because I know what I am doing is correct and looks good. This also goes for when I want to be most creative because if I know what I am doing then it will be better for me and more fun for me to be creative.

WebPage Comments

I thought that the webpage was a fun, but challenging task to complete. Some of my storyboard was hard to put onto the page because codes didn't always work. I found some corrections on the codes that I needed in order to get the page to work, but sometimes the codes that I put in did not always work, which was frustrating. Overall I thought that the webpage was not to hard, but some parts, like figuring out why a code would not appear on the page, were hard.

Website Final

Basketball Playoffs

The NBA playoffs are rolling right along, and right now some favorites for the championship are definitely the Miami Heat and either the San Antonio Spurs or Oklahoma City Thunder.
All these teams have superstar talent and each member of the teams look for ways they can get their team to the top. \The Brooklyn Netslook to take hold on to their chancesa little bit longer by taking one game at a time. If they do this the team will have a better chance of getting to the next round.

Lebron James

If I had to pick a team to win, I would want the Heat to win. LeBron James is arguably the best player in the league, and he is a true leader. I think that he is worthy of another title and should be able to bring home the gold once again.

The Clippers in my opinion have the best chance in the Western division because of the dominant forces of Blake Griffen and Chris Paul. Along with previous Celtics coach, Doc Rivers, they could possibly get to the finals and maybe even win it all.

    School Year <body> <h1>This year</h1> <p align=center>This year in school I have been working very hard, and I have been figuring out that high school is a lot of work, and that I will need to put a little bit more time into my classes to get the grades I want. In the past quarter, I did well and it was a good way to start second semester. <br>It took a little time but everything played out in a good way, and I was able to maintain good grades for the second half of school so far. </p align=center> <h2>Next Year</h2> <p align=right>Every year in school I try to figure out a way I can improve for the next year. However this year was different because it was my first year of high school.     Piano

    For the past 8 years, I have been playing piano. It is a lot of fun and one of my favorite things to do. I am starting a new band and the guys in the group are a lot of fun to play with, and are very talented. I hope to continue with music for a long time, and hopefully for the rest of my life.

    Sports with friends

    Another really fun thing I enjoy doing is hanging out with my friends. One way we can all get along together really well is by playing sports. We always go down to the park and play basketball or baseball. Everything that we do is fun and I am glad I have really good friends.

    Most of my friends have grown up with me from when I was young, but a lot of knew kids who I have met over the years I have come to like and want to hangout with. High school is very fun so far and I hop it will stay this way for the next few years.
