Practical Uses of Power Searching
Last week we finished up our unit on power searching with google. Now I am able to use all the new techniques I learned for the rest of my school career, and adulthood. In classes like history, and englsih, there are lots of documents and papers we need to be able to read and understand. Using the "ctrl f" process will be able to help me get through any documents faster that I am researching, and I can make better time. Other techniques, such as the color paintchip, and "intext:," can help with getting easier access to valid information. Operators and snippets of information can be acquired by using some of these things. Other uses of the word "OR" and the minus sign all are other tools that I can use at a job to find information I want on multiple topics and minimize the stuff I do not want.
